These rescue pets are looking for a good home. July 30-31

STATEN ISLAND, NY – Many pets have been adopted because of your care, but there are still so many more who need someone like you to love them.
You have no idea the amount of dedication and time the animal rescue volunteers listed below devote to finding homes for those special friends. They host weekly pet events, send out announcements, organize fundraisers, help with supplies, clean cages, feed animals, make sure animals’ medical needs are taken care of and much more. Again. All of this is done without pay and behind the scenes.
Remember that in addition to adorable puppies and kittens, there are loving, disabled pets that also need your care and attention.
Would you like to share your space with a new cat? Check them.
It’s Hans…
Hans is the perfect kitten. He gets an E for excellent on his report card in all areas. This cutie is sweet, gentle, playful, likes to be held, gets along well with others, is a purr machine, and very beautiful. I bet he is clean and tidy when eating and using the litter box. Hans will make a wonderful addition to any household. Hans was born in late January 2022, is up to date with his vaccines, negative for FIV/FELV, and will be neutered and microchipped according to his age. He can be seen in his foster home by appointment, or on days he is at Petco Bricktown Way or PetSmart 1525 Forest Ave. for adoption events. For more information, contact SICAW at 718.948.5623, Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. A home visit is required for adoption. Learn more about the adoption process and complete an application here: https://www.sicawsaves.org/adoption-process (COURTESY/SICAW)

EACH WEDNESDAY
Do you like dogs? Do you like beer? Then grab a cold one at the Dog Club at Flagship Brewing Co. The club meets every Wednesday from 5-11 p.m. in the Flagship Brewery dining room, 40 Minthorne St., near Bay Street.
The Flagship’s Dog Club is for that special breed of dog and beer lovers who can bring their (well-behaved) puppies to meetings. Once a month there will be a guest speaker to talk about their own specialty or knowledge regarding the welfare of their valued loyal friends.
