Taking her stories to Instagram, she revealed she was visiting her sister’s cafe when they told her about the dog.

Speaking to her followers, she said: “In Clonmel he called Fetch to see them in action and as soon as I got there Rachel and Kevin were like, ‘Roz, we saw a dog running, we have to find it “.”

She then showed the cute dog who had a brown coat and appeared to be a lurcher.

Roz said: “He’s my new friend so this cute guy here has a big gash on his face.

“So I took Willay’s direction and I’m taking him to the vet to keep you posted, I hope we find his owners and he’s okay.”

The next few videos were from the vet’s office and the nurse was cleaning the poor dog’s wounds.

Roz said in the videos: “This poor guy was obviously dumped – covered in chips, cuts and an abscess. He was running around town. He caught him on his way to the vets.

“Most placid dog. Not chipped, in terrible shape cleaning his wound now (vets think this was a few days ago).

“I got him antibiotics and all that.”

Roz asked her dad to come and pick her up with the dog from the vets and she explained that she ran into a friend who hosts dogs like the one she found.

The friend will help rehabilitate the dog and she will later find a permanent home for the dog.

Speaking in a subsequent video, the cookbook author said, “Okay, obviously we think this dog was dumped along with two other dogs.

“There are reports that there were three, obviously we are only after finding one in Clonmel.

“They think he’s obviously been dumped and if he wasn’t they would question whoever owns them because he’s not chipped, he’s covered in chips, covered in cuts, cuts all over the place, massive abscesses that are actually quite old.

“So he’s with me tonight, we’re going to find him a home on Instagram, we’re going to find him a home.

“This dog is one of the placid dogs ever he’s so cute he’s cooler than any of my dogs.”

Roz then showed some of the painful injuries the dog had on his face, explaining that they were getting them treated.
