MultiVersus Attack Decay – what is it and how to remove it

MultiVersus, like any of the best fighting games around, comes with its own unique mechanics. Perhaps the best example of this is MultiVersus Attack Decay. During your games, you have most likely come across a visual indicator and wondered ‘what is it, how do I get rid of it?’
After finally jumping into the open beta at the end of July, eager gamers were finally able to get their hands on Player First Games’ first-ever title, and so far the reception has been positive.
Of course, why wouldn’t he, when you can bet on Batman as Jake the Dog? Of course, it would be easier to do that if that damn Multiverse Attack Decay the mechanic didn’t keep getting in your way, so read on to find out everything you need to know about it.
Multiverse Attack Decay
MultiVersus Attack Decay kicks in when players use the same move consecutively for too long. For example, if you keep hitting over and over, Attack Decay will trigger. While in effect, Attack Decay gradually reduces the damage you deal with each attack.
You’ll know you’re affected by Attack Decay by the visual indicator that appears above your character to tell. Naturally, when you exit Attack Decay, the indicator disappears.
How to remove MultiVersus Attack Decay
‘So how do you remove MultiVersus Attack Decay?’ In order to get rid of Attack Decay, mix up your combos and start introducing a wider variety of attacks. Once several hits have been landed, Attack Decay will end.
While an annoying mechanic for sure, Attack Decay is Player First Games’ attempt to reduce in-game spam – something we’re very happy to see as players should try to maximize their understanding of each member of the MultiVersus list.
