Mother dog, 6 puppies thrown at the bus stop | Daily Express Online
HERE is the story of a mother dog and her newborn puppies abandoned by her masters. Mom dog was left behind when she needed someone the most. After giving birth to a litter of healthy puppies, her cruel owners found no use for her.
They made the despicable decision to abandon her and her babies out of town in an effort to make them disappear forever. But she survived thanks to the remains left behind by a Good Samaritan, rummaging in the trash and sometimes the food efforts of those who noticed her presence.
We just want to inspire people if they have a vision, a passion and a dream to follow it. Anyone can be a hero, just dedicate yourself and follow your heart. We wanted to inspire people because we did it with nothing … rescuers like us who make very little money to live on, but working with homeless dogs you get paid doggy style.
The insensitivity of some people is simply astonishing. Being in the rescue business means having to face some pretty heartbreaking times. And no matter how many times animal rescues have to deal with sad cases, it doesn’t get any easier to know that there are some pretty cold people in this world.
When HEART got a call from a Good Samaritan who spotted an abandoned dog mother and her puppies, we were immediately on the spot before the situation got worse. According to the concerned Samaritan, many cars and trucks were passing bombing along the Ranau – Sandakan road. The situation could be detrimental to the mother dog and her newborn puppies.
Apparently the little canine family had just been dumped at the Ranau-Sandakan bus stop like garbage a few days earlier. In general, the mother dog and her litters were left to die in appalling conditions. In fact, the six newborn puppies were so young that they hadn’t even opened their eyes yet and were still breastfeeding their mother while she was standing.
It’s the heartbreaking moment Team Heart discovered a mother dog and her newborn ‘left to die’ puppies curled up at a bus stop – only to find another litter just five minutes down the road. Her puppies were only a few days old. Some people passing by ignored the dog mom and kept trying to help the canine family because she scolded them. The young mother was abandoned with her babies on the Ranau-Sandakan road and she did not move for several days. His pain broke our hearts. Some people are so cruel!
What if we hadn’t saved her? What if the Good Samaritan hadn’t called us?
We can’t bear to think of how they would have survived in the middle of nowhere, so hot and hungry.
However, by the time we arrived, the exhausted dog mom, who was later named Safiyah, no longer seemed to be growling. Instead, she just seemed heartbroken. We found Safiyah snuggled up next to her six puppies. The mother dog did not allow us to approach her. She didn’t even agree to eat from us. Mom was terrified of humans because of her dark past and ran away whenever anyone tried to approach her. It took us many hours to get mom dog to her foster home.
Even though mom finally accepted our friendship, she wasn’t ready to let us touch her yet. Each attempt to put a leash around his neck caused him to race, potentially causing a huge setback in our progress. We knew it was time to come up with a new plan. We were able to set a large trap on the property and help her lure him into the cage and the scared mum was eventually captured.
The puppies were only a few days old and although Safiyah was doing her best to keep them safe and calm, it was clear that poor mum needed help. She was so sad …
The heartbroken and scared mom knew she wouldn’t be able to keep her beloved puppies alive if someone didn’t come to her aid. Fortunately, we did.
This abandoned family is really the reason we are doing this. So much grief can be involved [in rescue], but seeing a loving mother dog like this to raise her puppies is so adorable. We watched them and couldn’t help but cry. This is the rewarding part.
We carefully picked up the helpless babies one by one. One was very weak, but the other five appeared to be in good health and were taken, along with their mother, to our foster home to receive the care she needed and were seen by a veterinarian.
Mother dog Safiyah and her six puppies have had the time and space to heal and find hope for the future. After going through so much pain and heartbreak together, the little family was finally safe and they could spend time together and focus on their love for each other without having to worry about whether they would survive. the day.
Safiyah and her puppies have gone to foster care where they will be looked after until they reach adulthood and enjoy every second of their time together. We all want Safiyah and her puppies to receive all the love and happiness they deserve.
We were also able to determine that the bitch had either been used for breeding or abused before her abandonment. Letting go of a dog is one thing, but being cruel in the process is another. Ditching a dog on the street is bad enough, but throwing out a dog mom and her puppies like garbage takes cruelty to a whole new level. In the meantime, the Heart team hopes to find whoever is responsible for her abandonment, her and her newborn puppies, at the Ranau-Sandakan bus stop.
Under the Sabah Animal Welfare Enactment 2015, abandoning a puppy / dog or kitten / cat or any animal suffering from starvation, disease, injury or endangerment is punishable by a fine of up to RM 100,000 or three. years in prison or both if convicted.
Until people fully understand that pets cannot be thrown away like broken toys, or that unwanted animal tragedy can simply be avoided with a visit to the vet, the problem remains.
