Man airlifted to hospital after crash near Rochester airport
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) – A pickup and straight truck were involved in a traffic accident at a rural intersection southwest of Rochester this morning.
State Patrol said a Brownsdale man suffered injuries that appeared not to be life threatening and was airlifted to St. Mary’s Hospital. Anthony Eddington, 30, was the driver of the van and was heading north when he collided with the larger truck, which was heading in the opposite direction on Route 30 / Olmsted County Road 8, just to west of Rochester Airport.
State Patrol said the other driver, Troy Kennedy, 62, of Pine Island, was uninjured. Both drivers were wearing seat belts when the accident happened around 11:30 a.m.
