The Louisville canine hero is making headlines again after winning a competition to be named “Chief Tasting Officer” for Busch’s new dog product.

Ethan, the dog that was left for dead in the parking lot of the Kentucky Humane Society’s main campus in January, had a “resume and story that will inspire us for years to come,” Busch wrote in a Facebook post announcing Ethan as the contest winner.

The beer company announced the contest last month in his search for a dog to test the taste of his dog-friendly drink. The prize includes $ 20,000, 10 four-pack Busch Dog Brew packs, and an $ 800 prepaid card to purchase pet insurance for your dog.

“Ethan is known to have inspired members of his local community and will continue to inspire more as the official responsible for the tasting of Dog Brew,” Busch said in the post. “Please give her a bunch of apPAWS!”

The Humane Society also congratulated Ethan on his great achievement.

“Just four months ago he was left for dead in our parking lot and now he is a symbol of hope for all who are lucky enough to meet him”, the non-profit organization written on facebook. “We’re so proud of you Ethan! Keep changing the world!”
