Actor Daniel Henney saves former South Korean breeding dog to US, Entertainment News & Top Stories

LOS ANGELES – While filming in South Korea recently, Korean-American actor Daniel Henney fell in love with a former breeding dog and decided to bring her back to the United States, where he is based.
In a heartwarming Instagram post with photos of the young golden retriever, including one wearing a party hat at her adoption party, the 41-year-old opened up about how he saved the dog after the ‘met while filming a South Korean reality show Upgrade My Life.
âFor all of you who have watched Upgrade My Life, I know you are wondering about the fate of this magnificent golden retriever,â he wrote on Monday, June 21. “Well, I couldn’t help but think of her either.”
With the help of Korean Dog Sanctuary Rescue, he managed to get her to the United States, where he is currently welcoming her before she leaves in his home forever.
The Criminal Minds actor himself has two golden retrievers, Roscoe and Juliet. In fact, Juliette was rescued from a dog meat farm in South Korea before adopting her last year.
As a dog lover and animal activist, Henney worked with the Humane Society International to raise awareness in South Korea about the benefits of dog adoption.
“I called her Rosie and found her a forever home with my good friend’s wonderful mother, whom she will meet later this summer. So excited for her new life,” he wrote, adding the hashtag #adoptdontshop.
